twitter!
December 14, 2009
probably the 2nd last person in the entire world to get twitter (because i’m sure kingchan don’t have a twitter account yet hurhur)
but still i must exclaim,
I HAVE A TWITTER ACCOUNT NOW!
and i’m loving my twitter name,
@blackcaratcake
black because i’m black (duh!).
carat because i’m cara t(an).
and blackcaratcake because i love black carrot cakes!
nice name right!
but to be frank i don’t think i will be tweeting alot.
(plus i don’t exactly have an exciting life)
:/
so you can choose not to follow me hahaha.
but friends out there with twitter accounts,
gimme your usernames!
i wanna follow you guys on twitter!
p.s. i only have xiaxue and CNN on my twitter now (how boring
)
—————————————————————-
twitter aside,
for those who are still unaware,
MY FLIGHT TO NEW YORK IS CONFIRMED!
meaning,
i’ll be flying on the 21st and will be seeing mr kingchan on the 22nd!
best thing about this trip,
i get to spend my (white one hopefully!) christmas with king chan there!
not as romantic as you might picture because my entire family is going along as well but it’s really good enough for me!
they must be the nicest parents to accommodate a willful daughter’s ridiculous wish of wanting to join her bf in new york.
so,
NEW YORK HERE I COME!
let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
it feels like hall
December 9, 2009
now that i have my own room in office, it really feels like back in those hall days where we will always think of 1001 ways to decorate that little personal space.
but of course, i won’t be able to put up just about anything (it’s going to be a classroom afterall) but i’m really enjoying myself during this little process. ![]()
from finding the cutest alphabet chart to put up, to making/printing/laminating my own phonics wall posters, everything seems to make me feel good ![]()
anyways this random entry serves 2 purposes:
1. for me to kill time on the train before meeting dearest c-rew!
2. an attempt to revive this (almost) dead blog!
okays shall end this boring post with some pictures of my office!
p.s. my office still looks damn empty because my workdesk and pc hasn’t arrive yet but the room is still damn nice k heh :p
p.s.s. i’m damn proud of the monopoly game i made!
CONGRATS JIAHUI!

my precious friday last week was spent with c-rew and kingchan.
why precious?
’cause i’ll be looking forward to a 6-day working week schedule from the coming week onwards!
!!!
so from the next week onwards,
it’s gonna be TGIS for me.
(thank-god-it’s-saturday OR thank-god-i’m-sick)
so dear friends out there,
don’t boonkeng on fridays without me k?
…
on a happier note,
i want to hao-lian something:
I HAVE A WEEK LONG HOLIDAY FOR XMAS!
i have no idea why they’re so nice to give us such a long break for xmas,
but i’m definitely not complaining!
(i secretly think it’s because my boss is a santa claus… he really looks like one :X)
and on top of that,
i’m FORCED to take 2 days off before the end of 2009!

October 29, 2009
for you,
i know i can.
♥
i love zoe!
October 26, 2009
all i have to say is zoe raymond really did us a big favour and i’m superbly grateful to her!
everyone do visit her blog:
http://www.bbabyprincess.blogspot.com
so that she earns more from nuffnang!
(actually i have no idea how nuffnang pays the bloggers but i’m sure more visits will earn her more moolahs right?)
and of course,
don’t forget to check out her latest entry about jara petit’s cheesecups!
zoe raymond is a proud consumer of jara petit mini cheesecups,
when is your turn?
we simply ate non-stop!
October 19, 2009
on children’s day,
the jobless gang went on an impromptu jb trip!

we took this picture before lester arrives and it’s the only picture with king chan.
because he brought his punch-holed-and-old-and-expired passport instead of his new one to the immigration.
so while the 5 of us went ahead,
he had to go home.
haha.
…
and so like what my title says,
we simply ate NON-STOP the whole time we were there!
our first “meal” of the day:

ems and i had some fruit juice before heading for lunch.
then lunch was at sizzling stonegrill:

as if the grilled meat wasn’t enough to fill our tummies,
we went on to have desserts at baskin robbins!
msia trips are never complete without an ice-cream at baskin robbins i say!

the ever generous brendon treated us to this 40scoops chocolate fondue that’s oh-so-yummy!
except for that greenish looking almond flavour ice-cream that we all didn’t like heh.

and because we wanted to fit more stuff into our stomachs later,
we decided to take a break and go for movies.
the movies there were dirt cheap!
we each spent less than 3 bucks for THE UGLY TRUTH.
and the formula to watching such cheap movies?
dig out all your student cards for student discount!
because ems and hx forgot to bring their matric cards,
lester and i threw in our alumnus card and student ez-link card.
that lady at the counter even photocopied the cards for reference,
without even realising there were repeated cards! :X
thank goodness we didnt get caught!
anyway,
something random:
we saw this outside the movie theater

do i look more like 刘青云 or lester more like 古天乐?
i don’t really want to know the answer by the way.
hahaha.
…
so after the movie,
we went on to do some workout at the arcade with..
BISHI BASHI!
i think we’re all quite zai at it!
(and ems is surprisingly super good at it!)

and (random again),
this is something you don’t see in singapore arcades:

ktv capsules where you can simply insert tokens to sing!
interesting ah!
but they only have malay songs i think.
…
so obviously after all that bishi bashi-ing,
we had space to spare in our tummies once again and we proceeded to shilin for snacks!

and we even had some auntie anne’s pretzels + secret recipe cakes to go along with.
just that i forgot to take pictures of them.
…
and after that we walked around some more to digest the food before our last stop at:

the much-raved about golden balls (bottom right picture) were alright only.
lester dua pao!
heh.

so when we finally couldnt squeeze anything more into our stomachs,
we went back.

one last groups photo before we splitted into different cabs home.
and this got to be the photo of the day:

hehe.
this jb trip definitely wasn’t a BORING one.
(inside joke heh!)

October 2, 2009
exactly 1 month away from the end of freedom for me.
but i’m very very happy about it!
parasite no more!
hide and seek, taboo, charoodles, BINGO!
September 29, 2009
some weeks ago 6h met up for a gathering-cum-house-warming to jiahui’s lovely new house!
but before we actually visit her house,
a few of us met up at adam’s road food center, which is a stone’s throw away from jiahui’s new house, for dinner:

and then it was desserts at island creamery (which i did not take photos of) before heading to her uber huge house!
because no one (among us) has visited her house before except me,
we decided play hide and seek as part of “orientation”!
so here are pictures of us outside her house before we begin:

i was hiding in the maid’s room (camouflage ma..clever right?
)
and it was quite a secretive place so i was one of the last ones to be caught. heh.
no prize for guessing who was the last one to be found though haha.
so after the game,
we explored the place even further and took pictures with various corners of her house.
the toilet that can accomodate 6 of us comfortably:

the well equipped entertainment room:

the hell’s-kitchen-lookalike kitchen:

pool #1:

pool #2:

the staircase where we camwhored at:

so after much messing around,
we settled in the entertainment room for board games!
first up was TABOO!

you can tell from our faces we were having loads of fun!
but i was quite distracted throughout the game by jiahui’s beauty and this explains why there’s so many pictures of her below.
HURHUR.

and next up was CHAROODLES!
for those who don’t know what charoodles is,
it’s basically charades with props (those cups/balls u see in the pictures below)!

and the king of charoodles gotta be kexin!
he can convincingly act out any weird animals (including insects like spiders) that were given to him.
and the night ended with BINGO!

call me suaku if you like,
it was my first time playing bingo with money!
i still remember how i used to play the 5X5 self-drawn bingo during lectures in jc.
that was so long ago.

but no beginners’ luck for jiahui and i!
we both lost terribly and people had to sponsor us to let us play.
(and still we didn’t win argh!)
well,
hope we have better luck next time!
so 6h,
when are we bingo-ing again?
