before lucasfilm took my bf away..
July 29, 2009
these pictures were taken like more than 2 months ago when kingchan was nice enough to suggest that we go on a 2D1N camping adventure before he got so madly busy with work.
i was at first too lazy to blog about this especially since it’s so long ago.
but i was missing kingchan yesterday so i started looking through photos and found these.
how i miss those times where we have all the time in the world
…
the day started with fish and chips at manhattan fish market:

and arcade after lunch!

our favourite game: bishi bashi
i think we’re both very good at it!

then we went to downtown east ’cause i wanted to go wild wild wet initially:

but we ended up bowling.

the very cute scoreboard where there’re more than 10 different themes to choose from.
the one below is the “fairytale” theme.

omg. kingchan is so cute.

and then we went back to his house to take the camping equipment,
proudly sponsored by alvinchong!
(thanks ac!)

by the time we finally walked to our designated camping area we were damnnn tired already.
and here’re some pictures of my macho bf setting up the tent.
so charming!

and the next morning:

the (quite) beautiful view that greeted us when we woke up:

and then it was macho bf packing up again:

and then it was brekkie at macs before going home:

here are 2 interesting sights from this 2D1N adventure:
(1) A FREAKING USED SANITARY PAD IN IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE?!
sorry i know this is damn gross but i must really put this up.

(2) Owner walking dog?
Look again!
It’s dog walking owner!

well that’s pretty much all!
and here’s a nice picture of us and ac’s our tent to end off this post!

thankyou mr kingchan!
psst.

psst.
i overheard my brother talking on the phone for quite a long time just now.
and he looked damn suspicious when he came out of the room.
when i asked him if he was talking on the phone,
he defensively ask me ” 你听到了什么?”
i think he has a girlfriend.
or at least on his way in getting one!
finally my turn!
July 27, 2009
he used to talk to me quite alot when he was interested in my neighbour when i was in year one.
he used to msn me everytime i go online.
and whenever i go to the coop to buy textbooks, he’ll be there to help.
but ever since he moved out of hall last year, we hardly contacted each other.
i thought perhaps he’s busy with his firefighting training or what.
then, almost my girlfriends (like xiu, emsie, jiahui, faith and many others) around me started telling me that they kept receiving smses from him asking them about their work and how’s life blahblah.
but he did not msg me.
i wonder what’s wrong with me, why didn’t he talk to me like he did before?
i was so depressed i was tempted to msg him to ask him what’s wrong.
but today got to be the luckiest day of my life.
because,
HC JUST MSN-ED ME!
he totally made my day.
ihave iphone too

byebye to E65 who have been dutifully serving me for 2 years!
i would have kept you with me for a longer time if you weren’t so annoying, rejecting calls and smses the past 2 weeks.
anyway,
hello xian, xiu, ekie and a million others:
i am now officially part of the iphone family!
not as easy as i imagined
July 23, 2009
hypnotherapy is not as easy as i imagined it to be.
all the things taught during the 10-day course,
all the books i’ve read about hypnotherapy,
all the observatory therapy sessions i sat in,
all the practice sessions i had with my coursemates,
i thought i was fully prepared to do therapy on my own.
but when i had my first official client yesteday, i was so stressed my heart was pounding so loudly it was echoing in my ears.
to be frank, i think i was even more afraid than my client.
and the lady boss supervising me from the side just made things worse.
it felt like dance audition all over again :X
well,
the good thing is i’m finally starting to earn some bucks.
the bad thing is i have to go through that amount of stress for at least another 5 times.
tomorrow would be my second session with her,
and this time i hope everything will go well.
…
i think i should self-hypnotise myself to remember these:
1) DON’T SAY THE WRONG THINGS AGAIN!
2) Speak in better English. Angmohs don’t understand Singlish.
3) React well to emergencies. DO NOT PANIC.
4) JIAYOU!
hairy problems

before rebond = bad hair
after rebond = bad hair
tell me what should i do?!
why am i born with bad hair!
taiwan day III
July 13, 2009
i took so many pictures in taiwan i don’t think i’ll ever finish posting them up
i can’t believe it’s only day 3!
anyway,
here are the many many many photos we took on day 3:

my daily photo with zhaozhao!

and we arrive at 淡水:

(top right) very thoughtful light-up signboard to alert passengers when the bus is turning.

and the bus ride took us to 渔人码头,where 情人桥 (lover’s bridge) is.
the lover’s bridge:

jumpshots!

and this time even peiyuan joined us!

my suicidal shots attempt that did not turn out convincing:

meet F4:

guess the word below!
first person to get the correct answer will receive a gift from me!

leaving the lover’s bridge,
we decided to take a walk around the town.
i wish singapore’s mailing box looks like this too

this place seems to be some fishing village ’cause we kept seeing boats around.

the following shots were taken while waiting for peiyuan and zhaozhao to return from the information center.
i realise i really love taking photos with statues!
(king chan statue): ohh my dearest, please marry me!
(me): awwwwww..

(me): of course i do!

(me): but i have to go back to singapore first..byebye
(king chan statue): oh my dearest please don’t go i beg you!

ummm okay the next one kinda has no link haha.

and then i continued taking stupid pictures,

and xian decided to join in the fun!

the stranger who helped us take this picture was laughing at us.

like 九份,淡水 is famous for their 老街:

the famous long, dagger looking ice-cream that we can’t finish:

and this is our (especially peiyuan) favourite game,
捞鱼!

in case you don’t know,
捞鱼 is an extremely common/popular “street game” in taiwan.
it was even featured in one jay chou video
you pay about 5bucks for a few “paper nets”,
and objective of the game is to catch as many fishes as you can without breaking the paper.
and you get to bring those fishes home.
it may seem easy at first,
but it actually requires alot of skills because the paper breaks so easily!

(top left) my catch for the day!
i caught like 6 or 7 fishes?

this is another of my favourite!
same thing,
looks easy (all you have to do is just throw the darts and burst the water balloons) but actually requires some techniques!

this cuttlefish snack is superrr yummmmy:

yet another street game!
i think all these are more fun than the arcades in singapore!

at sunset,
we took a ferry to the island opposite,
for our much-anticipated hotspring treat!

here we are at 八里!

the entrance to the hotspring place.
zai right?
that’s exactly how high class that place is

so once we got in,
we were greeted by this super spacious lobby,
where there are a thousand lockers for us to put our shoes.

and what excites us the most is that we get to choose a pattern design for our bathrobe!

RFID!
my favourite word from it1003.

and we changed into our kimono-looking bathrobe:

there are altogether around 15 different pools outside,
each with a different “function”.
this is the fish-spa pool:

then we went on to try the ultrasound (?) pool:

and the “multipurpose massage” pools!

after dipping ourselves in almost all the pools around that place,
we then proceed to the other side where they have the “naked pool”.

at first we were all kinda apprehensive about going there because we don’t really wanna be naked in front of each other.
but thank goodness we were the only ones left so we could all still keep our bikinis on.
yay
not only were we able to escape the stripping part,
we managed to sneak our cameras in as well!
so here’re the not-so-naked pictures from the naked pool!

byebye fantastic 温泉 place!
i hope i can come back and visit you again the next time i go taiwan!

that’s it.
any more than that i probably will just hyperventilate and die.
and the chomp chomp dinner last night was the killer.
i don’t understand how i can still get excited over hokkien mee and carrot cake when i’ve been eating them all my life.
urgh.
please let me lose all appetite/interest in food.
please let me become determined addicted to exercise.
and please let me sh*t more.
…
tanxinyi! lose weight if not you might lose your boyfriend!
