the last weekend was spent mostly with KennING (:p) and i totally enjoyed it!

thank you kenning for accompanying me on friday to so many places!

anyhow,

this post is supposed to be about the simple-dinner-turn-crazy-outing that xiu, kenning and i had on saturday.

the post dinner camwhore sessions we had were hilarious.

i can’t believe we can get so high over the xmas decor in the new ginza (now called the west coast plaza).

…

well,

the night started out “normal”,

as we had our dinner at thai express:

and desserts at MOF!

we badly wanted to take a picture together with a xmas tree,

but since we were quite reluctant to ask strangers to help us take the photo,

xiu resorted to putting her cam on the tree so that all 3 of us can take a picture together:

so we took pictures with the xmas tree,

and balls on the xmas tree,

and many MANY MANY other random stuff:

and what’s amazing,

is that we actually manage to make kenning do these crazy poses as well!

muahaha!

she tried deleting the rest but i manage to keep one! :p

KL!

almost a week since i came back from KL! )

i have ALOT of pictures so i shall do less talking this time round.

at the HMK bus stop

on our way to KL! (:

and we dismounted at sunway lagoon,

a place i badly wanted to go since young but never got a chance to.

so anyways,

we went to some shopping centre straight away,

and had lunch at some chinese restaurant:

the ice tea at the bottom is actually called “shit-cha”.

haha.

and then we walk around abit,

there was some fashion show going on so you see the 2 hamsup guys looking so intensely at the stage.

everywhere was nicely decorated with xmas decor,

and we took pictures with this very special one:

oh!

i finally got to try baskinrobbins!

not as yummy as HD definitely but nice enough!

and so we went to the pasar malam after that,

after that weliam drove us around to sightsee,

and we drove past the clubbing area at least 3 times cause weliam kept taking the wrong turn. :p

day ended with pratas and naans,

and the petronas towers!

DAY 2

shopping!

finally we stopped at starhill gallery,

where we met kenning for buffet lunch at jogoya! (:

and every diner will receive a cute souvenir from them!

wanted to take pictures of the HUGE buffet spread but they disallow cameras near the buffet counters so i could only take pictures of my food.

well,

they do have a wide variety of food but quality was so-so only.

nevertheless,

i enjoyed my lunch because of this:

FREE FLOW OF HD ICE-CREAM!!!

this alone kept me happy for the entire lunch.

the feeling of being able to scoop HD ice-cream again was simply fantastic.

i was so excited i made kingchan take pictures of me scooping and he got scolded by the staff as a result :p

so after lunch we continue walking around,

until it was time for dinner!

and we had our dinner at..

restaurant soon fatt!

simple fare but nonetheless yummy!

after dinner it was more shopping!

chinatown!

after the long tiring day,

we went back to weliam’s house for wash-up,

and headed for supper!

(yes, we couldn’t stop eating)

and as usual mr kingchan was glued to the tv:

tsktsk.

DAY 3

the day began with UBER YUMMY bak kut teh!

this is definitely my favourite meal in KL!

and of cause after the meal,

we went for shopping again!

but the sofa area outside zara was filled with husband-like men,

some even with prams.

anyways,

we had our lunch at tgif!

the steak was good!

anyways,

the tv was screening some inter-varsity basketball match and the 3 guys had their gaze fixed on the tv throughout.

guys..tsk.

and after lunch we went to a bigger pasar malam:

look at the bottom left picture,

kingchan was actually searching for broad beans so that we can poison soonfatt with them.

hehe.

then we decided to have some late dinner at the hawker nearby and soonfatt our navigator wanted to take the “shortcut”,

which led us to walk across some park filled with water puddles.

i was walking with kingchan and he tried his best to guide us so that we’ll avoid stepping into the puddles.

at first we manage to survive the grassy part without getting our feet wet,

then i accidentally stepped into this very big puddle that was clearly visible.

then stupid kingchan called me stupid and scolded me.

THEN,

immediately after he scolded me,

he stepped into a water puddle as well.

how clever, huh!

so all of us couldn’t stop laughing at him afterthat.

dinner!

and since it was the last night,

DAY 4

last day in KL!

we had a quick brekkie at macs before we took the coach back to spore.

and on the way back i was accompanied bags and cinnabons ’cause kingchan didn’t come back with us.

so that’s the end of my KL trip!

on valentine’s day some time earlier this year,

xiu, emsie and i left hall for the airport,

(yes! we lugged our luggage out of the kr lobby!)

embarking on our trip to the land of smiles,

THAILAND!

thank you mommy for sending us to the airport! :]

and we were so excited about the trip we couldn’t stop taking pictures!

on our way to BANGKOKKKK:

upon reaching the suv-(whatever)-mi airport:

it was rather late by the time we landed,

so we had a simple dinner at a tiny restaurant nearby

after checking into our hotel (Asia Hotel),

and quickly turned in as we had “great plans” for the following day!

DAY 2:

we started the day with the hotel’s brekkie,

and ventured our way to our “heaven”:

by foot!

and after we arrived at Platinum,

we simply couldn’t stop shopping,

thus there weren’t many pictures taken,

only these few:

and i realise most of the shopping pictures were of emsie.

and look at what we found at Platinum:

okays i know i’m damn wu liao to go and insert their faces.

but i ended exams already ma,

nothing better to do you see :p

and after a tiring day of shopping,

we decided to reward ourselves with the yummy-licious food at Central World Plaza!

and following xiu’s suggestion,

the 3 of us decided on eating jap food.

the jap food seemed quite popular and so we had to wait to get in:

well the picture on top right is not of the jap restaurant,

but the “high class” restaurant beside it.

and it is the restaurant that neither of us would ever forget.

anyway,

so after some time.

we were allowed in.

we quickly order our food as we were really hungry by then after near 8 hours of shopping.

but the food took super long to come!

so long i resorted to eating soy sauce to “subdue” my hunger.

and after the sumptuous dinner,

we were not contented so we had desserts at the ice-cream shop (cold-rock concept but taste MILLION TIMES BETTER) that was situated nearby.

yums!

afterwhich,

we headed back to the hotel.

excited about the newly bought apparels,

we had a mini camwhore session in our cosy hotel room!

and check out the cute little tie i was wearing!

i lurrrve the tie but xiu and emsie kept insisting it looked like toilet paper,

and they made me take the following photos:

identical photos?

not really,

the tie was substituted with toilet paper in the bottom picture.

so with that,

we ended our second day in bkk with a truckload of clothes and endless laughter.

DAY 3

and since it was a weekend,

we took the train and headed for chatuchak market!

and there we began another round of killings!

and after that,

we went back to our hotel to unload the stuff before going back to platinum again!

and all 3 of us changed into our new buys!

let me show you some of the stuff we bought at chatuchak!

but of course i didn’t go out in that outfit la!

day 2 at Platinum was pretty much the same as the previous day,

so here are a few photos to sum up the day:

following that,

we headed to Central World again,

desperate to try out that “high class” restaurant i was talking about earlier on.

and so we went in,

and had a rather delicious meal,

totally oblivious to the misfortune that was going to befall on us the very next day.

and when i mean “high class”,

i’m not kidding!

just check out the interior of that restaurant:

look closely at the white bowl of red soup in the group picture on the right.

that was the culprit.

so anyway,

happy us headed back to our hotel,

and again,

started our crazy camwhore session.

and it just got crazier!

in case you can’t figure out from the pictures,

we were trying to be rockers,

each taking turns to play the roles of a guitarist, drummer and vocalist.

man, it was HILARIOUS.

just check out the bottom right picture,

emsie and i were already in “a bunch of laughing feets”.

so anyways so our third night in sawardeekar land ended with 2 truckloads of clothes and endless laughter again and..

exciting neighbours “in action”!

yes!

the occupants of the room beside us were “having fun” with (we presume) a prostitute in the bathtub!

and our lousy hotel is so un-soundproof that we could clearly hear the entire process from our bathroom.

what perverts!

oh before i end off day3,

check out the state of our room by the end of day 3:

DAY 4

our last day in bkk started with emsie puking,

which marked the start of our food poisoning saga.

emsie drank the most of the poisonous soup,

so thus she was the most affected and the first to puke.

poor emsie literally puke everywhere she went.

outside the four-faced buddha,

at mbk,

and outside platinum.

and at mbk,

i started feeling sick too,

so that explained why there were so few pictures taken.

we did our nails at mbk:

and the rest of our (emsie and i) day was spent sitting outside Black Canyon Cafe at Platinum,

leaving xiu to shop on her own.

in the afternoon,

we went for some massage to kill time,

before boarding our flight back to Singapore.

it was seriously a chore having to carry those oversize china bags and luggages when we ate nothing and puked the whole day.

but nevertheless,

we survived.

and by the time we landed,

xiu was also starting to feel nauseous.

so we were all so glad to be back home!

and we took a last picture before we all headed home to sleep (or puke)!
